Christopher Woodward, Steve's brother will be cycling the Pyrenees and dedicating this event and all his efforts to Steve. Chris is actively training as we speak for that special event in June of this year. We will update this page as often as we can.

We thank everyone who supported our cause in 2007 for Steve to afford to fly to Beijing, China for an Intra-Spinal Stem-Cell operation. That particular treatment was a Stem cell transplantation via Lumbar Puncture. It had some temporary advantage for Steve as he could sleep undisturbed for a few hours again. However, the advantage only lasted for awhile. Less than a year later, Steve's condition came back to whence it was before he left for China in October of 2007. Steve was one of the unlucky ones because there were others that met with some success with their treatment. We were disappointed of course but we haven't lost hope and we stay proactive in Steve's treatment. This is why we are here again to ask for your help. 

 

Steve has already been to the new clinic and has had his first treatment. We made a personal loan to make this possible. Steve has to have a follow up treatment within a year and in today's economy and our economic situation we just cannot afford it. Steve has no medical insurance because no insurance company will accept him since he has his preexisting Parkinson's Disease. This new treatment is different from the one administered in China.
